As a practising Counsellor - Psychotherapist I studied for and achieved the qualification ‘Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice’ over a period of 4 years of study.   Within my role I am committed to continuous professional development and experiential learning as part of my desire to be of best help to Clients seeking therapy.

Working as an integrative therapist, I am able to offer varying therapeutic approaches in my work to support individual needs and I feel passionate about providing a relaxing environment and comfortable space where you can take the time needed to discover the areas of life that you feel are holding you back or causing unwanted distressing feelings.

 

With empathy, compassion and understanding, I offer support for my Clients to explore the issues that they are facing, whilst inspiring confidence to overcome the difficulties which may creating a sense of overwhelm and which can be preventing positive forward momentum as desired.

 

I have extensive experience in working with a range of issues, including and not limited to; stress and anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self defeating behaviours, low self esteem/self worth, addiction issues, relationship issues, trauma, domestic abuse, emotional and or physical. 

I also have over 10 years experience of working with children and young persons and can offer support for both Young Persons, Parents and Carers experiencing difficulties associated with emotional and behavioural issues. My knowledge and experience have enabled me to have a good understanding of the problems being faced by Young Persons, Parents/Carers. I recognise the increased need for additional support which may also be resulting from anxieties generated following the pandemic.
